Las Vegas home sales statistics
continue to reflect the fact that Las Vegas is the fastest growing
city in our nation! The median price for a single family home
for the fourth quarter of 2003 was $ 187,400 which is a 14.1%
increase over the same quarter in 2002. Home sales volume for
the same period grew by 29.5% to 20,347 single family homes.
Unbelievably, Las
Vegas booming real estate market is getting even hotter!
New home permits for the first quarter in 2004 were up 58% to
9,149 over the first quarter of 2003. Las Vegas home sales statistics
also show that existing home sales for this same time period
were up 55% to 14,776.

2002 = 38,621
Las Vegas New Home Sales 2003 = 25,230 (new record)
Las Vegas New Home Sales 2002 = 22,502
Las Vegas New Home Permits = 22,050 (up 4% over 2001)
Ten-year growth of new home sales = 57.5%
Ten-year growth of existing home sales = 268.1%
New Home Median Price for 2003 = $ 209,611
New Home Median Price for 2002 = $ 186,827 (up 4.4% over 2001)
Existing Home Median price for 2002 = $ 157,000 (up 10.56%
over 2001)

Homebuilder is KB Homes with 2,959 recorded home sales in
2002 = 13.09% market share KB Homes had 3,381 recorded Las
Vegas new home sales in 2003.
*Homebuilders with 5+ % of market share and over 1,000 recorded
home sales in 2002 are DR Horton, Richmond American, Pardee,
and Del Webb
